The Ghana Medical Association of Ghana has blamed the increase of coronavirus cases on the non-adherence to public safety and preventive measures.
In a statement sighted by vimnewsgh, the Association suggested District, Municipal and Metropolitan Assemblies must lead in the fight to enforcing strict adherence to prescribed preventive measures by the public.
“Voluntary public disclosure of status must be encouraged to minimize stigmatization,” the statement read.
“The General Public is reminded that the COVID-19 is real and we must all be responsible in our personal dealings to protect ourselves and our loved ones,” it concluded.
